Paint Polishing & Paint Correction in Calgary.

Dull, swirled paint brought back to a deep, wet-looking gloss. We machine-polish every panel to remove swirl marks and light scratches, then protect the finish so the shine lasts.

What's included

  • Machine polish on every painted panel
  • Swirl and light scratch removal
  • Gloss enhancement and long-lasting protection

How we do it

  1. Wash and decontaminate. The paint is washed and cleaned of bonded grime so the polisher works on bare clear coat.
  2. Inspect under lights. We check the paint under strong lights to see swirls, haze and light scratches.
  3. Machine polish. Every painted panel is machine-polished to level out swirl marks and bring back depth and gloss.
  4. Protect. The finish is protected so the gloss lasts and the paint is easier to keep clean.

Why it matters in Calgary

Automatic car washes and dirty sponges leave fine circular scratches that show up as swirls in sunlight. Dark cars show it most. Polishing removes the damage instead of hiding it.

Questions

Will polishing remove every scratch?

It removes swirl marks and light scratches. Deep scratches that catch a fingernail may only be reduced.

How long does the shine last?

The correction is permanent until new swirls are put in. Washing by hand keeps it that way.

How much is paint polishing in Calgary?

Full Paint Polishing is $300 for a sedan, hatchback or coupe and $400 for a truck or SUV.

What is the difference between polishing and waxing?

Wax adds a protective layer on top of the paint. Polishing removes a microscopic layer of clear coat to take out swirls and light scratches, so the paint itself looks better.
